Ladies and Gentlemen, Good morning!
The title of my speech today is "the joy of growth".
On the road of life, everyone can find their own happiness. Do your best to enrich and improve yourself. Like students, campus is his joy; Because of social arrangements, the scope of student activities is reduced only. Remember, in primary school I was a naive romantic, lively and lovely girl. I had no hope, and with the possibility of criticism, I told him what I thought and what I was rejected... TO MY SURPRISE dad answered MY question. It was also a kind of "natural law", I was very happy that day, for my FATHER AND SOLVE PROPLEM.
Look at all the trouble and how much criticism and silly kids have been given to me. But I don't really feel that way. I'm happy and proud. I have already explained why.
I graduated from primary school and entered high school. Happiness did not decrease, but increased. For example: friendship tug of war, oral English class, students get together to chat and so on... This makes our heavy learning task much easier. I found that in the middle school garden, extra happy, I don't know why? Anyway, there is a kind of motivation that makes me work hard and soar in my own world like a bird.
Yeah! The lovely campus life has brought me great joy, both in the classroom and in the playground, which is full of our vitality. More importantly, I have gained a lot of my own oasis and ocean.
Indeed, growth is fun. It's a little unfortunate, but every time it's better, it's fun. May we thrive in this joy and be a useful free man in the future!

Reagan: Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you and good evening. The sponsor has been identified, but unlike most television programs, the performer hasn't been provided with a script. As a matter of fact, I have been permitted to choose my own words and discuss my own ideas regarding the choice that we face in the next few weeks.
I have spent most of my life as a Democrat. I recently have seen fit to follow another course. I believe that the issues confronting us cross party lines. Now, one side in this campaign has been telling us that the issues of this election are the maintenance of peace and prosperity. The line has been used, "We've never had it so good."
But I have an uncomfortable feeling that this prosperity isn't something on which we can base our hopes for the future. No nation in history has ever survived a tax burden that reached a third of its national income. Today, 37 cents out of every dollar earned in this country is the tax collector's share, and yet our government continues to spend 17 million dollars a day more than the government takes in. We haven't balanced our budget 28 out of the last 34 years. We've raised our debt limit three times in the last twelve months, and now our national debt is one and a half times bigger than all the combined debts of all the nations of the world. We have 15 billion dollars in gold in our treasury; we don't own an ounce. Foreign dollar claims are 27.3 billion dollars. And we've just had announced that the dollar of 1939 will now purchase 45 cents in its total value.
As for the peace that we would preserve, I wonder who among us would like to approach the wife or mother whose husband or son has died in South Vietnam and ask them if they think this is a peace that should be maintained indefinitely. Do they mean peace, or do they mean we just want to be left in peace? There can be no real peace while one American is dying some place in the world for the rest of us. We're at war with the most dangerous enemy that has ever faced mankind in his long climb from the swamp to the stars, and it's been said if we lose that war, and in so doing lose this way of freedom of ours, history will record with the greatest astonishment that those who had the most to lose did the least to prevent its happening. Well I think it's time we ask ourselves if we still know the freedoms that were intended for us by the Founding Fathers.
Not too long ago, two friends of mine were talking to a Cuban refugee, a businessman who had escaped from Castro, and in the midst of his story one of my friends turned to the other and said, "We don't know how lucky we are." And the Cuban stopped and said, "How lucky you are? I had someplace to escape to." And in that sentence he told us the entire story. If we lose freedom here, there's no place to escape to. This is the last stand on earth.
And this idea that government is beholden to the people, that it has no other source of power except the sovereign people, is still the newest and the most unique idea in all the long history of man's relation to man.
This is the issue of this election: Whether we believe in our capacity for self-government or whether we abandon the American revolution and confess that a little intellectual elite in a far-distant capitol can plan our lives for us better than we can plan them ourselves.
You and I are told increasingly we have to choose between a left or right. Well I'd like to suggest there is no such thing as a left or right. There's only an up or down -- [up] man's old -- old-aged dream, the ultimate in individual freedom consistent with law and order, or down to the ant heap of totalitarianism. And regardless of their sincerity, their humanitarian motives, those who would trade our freedom for security have embarked on this downward course.

Today on 15th August 20xx India is celebrating its 67th Independence Day, and we Indians are proud to say we have owned our freedom 67 years old back. As we gather here today I take the opportunity to congratulate every student and teacher of this School/college a Happy Independence Day! I also take the opportunity of welcoming you our chief guest for today!
We have assembled here to celebrate our 67th Independence Day. As a citizen of India, I am so proud to talk to you about my mother India. On the night of August 14, 1947, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru rose to make a maiden speech in New Delhi, “When the world sleeps, India will wake to life and freedom.” Yes, India became free from the bondage of British rule. Now, India is the largest democratic country in the world. The country’s strength is to find, “Unity in diversity”. But, there are stray incidents that test her secularism but the people of India are ready to sacrifice anything for the cause of unity. Today we remember the great leaders who gave their lives for the nation’s freedom and prosperity. Dr. B.R.Ambedkar gave the longest written constitution to us. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru worked for an industrialized India. Gandhi Ji taught us Ahimsa and Non-violence. Subash Chandra Bose inducted courage in us. Swami Vivekanand gave us spiritual power. Yes, with these contributions; India will be the super power in the coming years. Our former President Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam called the children of India to dream to build a strong Nation with aim and perseverance. Indeed! This is not a word of a single man. when i was a naughty boy, may be because of the influence of the film.xiao bing zhang ga,my dream was to be a soldier just like zhang ga.i thought if i was a soldier, i should be able to swim, dive and climb trees as he did.it seemed to be very wonderful.so i began to learn swimming, diving and climbing trees.i practiced every day and finally i could do them well.but when i entered junior high school and had the military training.i suddenly found that being a soldier was very difficult and i wasnt strong enough to bear it .i had to give my dream up.
but i wasnt discouraged, and i had new aim, which was to be a postman, or rather to be a newspaper boy.as a newspaper boy.i could speed along streets on a bike and throw newspapers onto every porch.thats also very cool.so i started learning to ride a bicycle.after the everyday practice, i could go very fast by bicycle.but to my disappointment, the job which i wanted only existed in western counties not in china, because there was no porch in china.and chinese postmen had to stuff very thick newspapers into very small mailboxes from very narrow entrances.the job was far from what i had expected.so once again my dream fell through.
perhaps you have had the same experience as i and most of your dreams havent come true yet.but i think it doesnt matter, because if you have a dream, youll make many efforts to realize it.this course is really important.if i hadnt dreamt of being a soldier or a newspaper boy.i wouldnt have learned to swim, to dive, to climb trees or to ride a bicycle.even if our dream cant come true, youll learn much from the efforts you have made.so what i want to tell us is that dream helps us to grow up and teaches us how to control our lives .it is dream that gives us power and makes our lives colorful

踏进教室一眼便看到陌生又熟悉的面孔——班主任郭老师。她兴匆匆地来迎接我们了,各科的`任课老师也都带着不同的心情来迎接我们。郭老师不仅和蔼可亲,而且也是一个独特的老师。她上课方式与众不同,性格也与众不同,有时幽默风趣,有时也很严肃。
在新的学期中我认识了不少新朋友,不同的人,也给我留下了不同的印象。
中学部的操场对我们来说也是全新的,整个操场也变得跟以前不一样了,像换上了新的服装,披上了新的铠甲。而我却没有明显的“变新”啊,虽然老师们都很看好我,可我那“不要脸”的精神依然给同学和各科老师留下了深刻的印象。

Despite such popularity of the pop songs, however, some people dismiss such kind of songs as crude and worthless. Based upon this, they say that pop songs should not have gained such popularity. Whereas many others stick to pop songs. Their lives seem to ha dull without songs.
In my point of view, pop songs should not be banned. True, their tunes are simple and sometimes repetitious, but this is not to say that they are of no artistic value. Folk songs are also quite simple in tune but no one could dismiss them as trash songs. There is no denying that some pop songs are equally excellent. Why? Because they are widely sung and widely remembered. For example, "Yesterday" is of high artistic value. No one can deny its beautifulness in tune. Of com-se, there are bad songs that will not last long, but pop song fans will give these songs their due by choosing to sing them or not.

Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams.
However, we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Don’t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.
Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.
