在我凌乱的书桌上，有一小盆仙人掌，那是玉在我11岁生日时送我给我的。那时，我天天都盼着它快快长大，想看看它长大以后的样子，好像它就是我的宝一样。

但是，这种情形没有维持多久。

时间慢慢流逝，不知不觉，一年就过去了。它静静地立在书桌一角，我已不会去注意它，因为它一点变化都没有，实在叫人提不起好奇心，而且那么不起眼——一个白色的，不足15厘米大的陶瓷花盆，中间立着一个巴掌大的仙人掌，颜色也不如其他的花那样鲜艳。

那年暑假，我终于有了新的发现。

炎热的夏天，结束了十多天辛苦的武汉之旅，推开我的房门，伸长手从桌上把空调遥控器拿来开。咦?那仙人掌怎么高出了一截，我赶忙凑近一看。在它不算高的身躯上冒出了好几个绿色的，纤细的小芽。它们是那么可爱，那么蓬勃向上。

不论别人怎么看，总有一天会有自己的价值，做好了自己就够了。

学校的后操场，有一棵树，它和我们的教学楼差不多高。

冬天，寒风呼呼地吹着。它只剩下一些枯枝败叶，不久，连春天、夏天、冬天经常站在它身躯梢上的麻雀，叽叽喳喳寒暄着，一只一只飞走了。它在那是既不能提供荫蔽，也不能遮风挡雨，就安静地，孤独地在那操场上占有一席之地。

但是，春暖花开的时候，万物复苏的季节，它的枝条上又长起了绿色的新芽，又重回了生机。

虽然没有人会去关注它，没有人会去管理它，但它年复一年，日复一日，不在乎别的想法，坚强的生长着，做好自己，够了。

在我们的班上，有一个叫亚军的同学。他身材矮小，可以说是我们班最矮的人，穿着也没有什么变化，坐在教室的最后一排的角落的位置。

在我看来，他是一个不引人注目的人，没有出色的才华，也没有优异的成绩，而且很内向。但是，班上的同学并不排斥他，老师也对他还可以，至少没有罚过或骂过他。

因为他总是静静地在那，上课也不讲私话，认真听讲;下课也没有追追打打，给同学们添麻烦。老师布置的作业尽自己最大的努力完成，虽然字没有其他同学那么好，文笔没有个别同学那么优美，但至少他去做了，去认真的做了。

前几天我们刚刚举行了一场运动会，第33届运动会，也是我在这个学校参加的最后一场运动会，我希望在这次运动会中能够超越以前的我，运动会举办的风风火火，我参加了两项比赛，跳高和跳远，第一天的跳远比赛发挥得还不错，我和陈润妍将第一第二都包揽了。本来对第二天的跳高比赛还信心十足，结果陈思文说她能够跳1米3几，我感觉自己似乎有点想退缩了。但转念一想，我只要超过了我自己的记录就可以了。

第二天，早晨，跳高的时候我一直在旁边看书，仿佛我不是来参加比赛的，而只是一个参观者。陈思文穿着一身短裤短袖，过来对我说：“谭晓寒，这次你可遇到了劲敌了。”我听着，浅浅的笑了。男生们的跳高比赛真是难分出胜负，过了一个多小时才到我们女生，周老师还有很多别的班的老师都赶了过来，这让我又有了一些紧张，我和陈润妍互相抱了抱，我笑着对她说：“你把正能量传给我吧。”初次试跳，感觉不错，随着竿子的逐渐升高，人群的逐渐减少，陈润妍失误了一次，她说自己好紧张，我告诉她，其实也是和我自己说：“你又不是去拯救宇宙的奥特曼，你不用那么紧张，你很好。”一直认为自己很强的陈思文也失误了不少次，1米17了，我注视着前面高高的横杆，深深吸一口气，然后飞快地向前跑去，快要接近跳高架子的时候，我左脚用力一蹬，右脚迅速抬高，身子腾空而起，我感觉我就像一只矫健的飞燕，轻盈的越过了横杆，陈思文失误了一次，才跃了过去，1米19，陈润妍说：“119，这是火警电话了。”结果，场上只剩下了我，陈润妍，陈思文三个人了，我们三个人三次都没有越过去，老师看谁失误的次数少排了名，我第一，陈润妍第二，陈思文第三，前年我的最高记录是一米15，而我现在已经能跳到1米17了，我刷新了自己的记录，虽然只有2厘米，但毕竟我超越了自己。
